 WOW! Three opportunities providing Christian Education for Adults will be offered starting in January at Ascension. Times have been adapted to give everyone an opportunity to be served.

 Why not use the dreary winter months to get to know more about our wonderful Christian legacy? Please sign up early (in December) so I can make materials available to those interested. [Participation of less than five (5) will close the course.]

 Here’s what’s on offer:

1. oa five-part study of “Prayer” including a teaching of the origin and practice of Anglican beads and the importance of prayer for spiritual development, starting MONDAY, January 23 – February 20 at 6:30pm.

1. oa ten-part Bible study focusing on Redemption and the “Christ” story in both Testaments starting Wednesday January 18, 1:00pm - 2:20pm and continuing on every consecutive Wednesday, THROUGH March 21.

1. o9:15 AM – 10:15 AM; this is our usual Sunday, inter-service study, that will now focus on the Book of Common Prayer – its history and spiritual importance for Episcopalians. The LONG and rich history of our Book starting with Thomas Cranmer’s authorship in the 16^th century and developing right up to the present day’s proposed changes will start SUNDAY January 8 [feast of Baptism of Our Lord] and continue through March 25^th.
